cocaineAn Office Assistant at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court is set to appear before a magistrate in one of the courtrooms which he frequented up to earlier this week.

Agents of the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit (CANU) say the 29-year old man swallowed 524 grams of cocaine.

He was arrested Thursday shortly before boarding a Caribbean Airlines flight to Jamaica.

The man was up to earlier Thursday still admitted at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).

A cyclist for several years, he recently began driving a car.

CANU has made most of the reported drug busts for 2012 so far.
