Teddy Persaud and one his sons.

A 35-year old man was early Sunday morning killed when the bus he was driving slammed into a parked truck on the Stanleytown Public Road, West Bank Demerara. 

Dead is Teddy ‘Bowfoot’ Persaud of 490 Nowrang Dam, Goed Fortuin Village, West Bank Demerara. 

Residents believe that he fell asleep at the steering wheel while on his way home and slammed into the truck.

He was pronounced dead at the West Demerara Regional Hospital, Best, West Coast Demerara. 

The bus was heading south on the left hand lane of the Stanleytown Public road when it struck the right front side of the truck.
