A building, which was rented by the recently gunned down owner of Pest Control Plus, was Thursday destroyed by fire. Located at The pre-dawn fire occurred six days after the owner of Pest Control Plus, Mohammed Baksh, was shot on June 15, 2012. The fire did not spread to neighbouring buildings but was contained inside the well-secured concrete structure. Fire fighters experienced extreme difficulty entering the building because the entrances and other areas were sealed off with steel plates, grills and concrete. The rear door was cut opened with a tool called ‘jaws of life’. The cause of the blaze, which started around 2 AM, is not yet known. |
