Congrats to all. I hope that the Education Ministry will send the top 112 to Queen's College instead of 152 as the previous year. Many of these come in as the top 10 for the country and are unable to maintain that standard

Congrats to all students who did well whether you are among the named top or not. There's a pattern in the results of this exam for the last few years. The fact that the Government schools are rarely named in the top ten or even hundred speaks volumes... Could it be that the system is deteriorating? It's not that teachers aren't working. It has a lot to do with discipline and conditions under which teachers and pupils work in the public system. Large classes, threatening behaviours of children and parents and not forgetting the Ministry of Education officials among many other things. It's important for the Government and nation to remember that discipline and hard work go together. Ask Mr Success... Whatever happened to the St Margaret's,North GT, Agnes etc...

Congrats to the primary schools teachers for their hard work and dedication for having top performers this year. It goes to show that parents do not have to send their children to private schools to be a top performer.Learning stems from good teacher pedagogy and differentiated learning. I am a teacher and money does not buy education. It all depends on the chid's ability and student-teacher interaction as well. Some teachers only concentrate on the strong students and leaves the lagging students behind to catch up. Lagging students could also be top performers, some teachers still have a lot of work to do. They need to go back to basics, some of them just teach for the exam. Some teachers cannot write a lesson plan.

Congrats to Mr Success too but just remember that Mr Success teaches all the cream of the crop coming out of various Government schools. The trs at Government schools had to teach these children from grade one to five then they leave and Success is praised...and when they go to him they can't complain about plenty homework and disciplinary measures or else...2. When u send children who perform below 65 percent they can't attend his lessons...

I would like to respond to 'MS.CECELYCIOUS' rather outrageous and ludicrous comment with regard to Mr. Success. I happened to be one of Mr. Success' students and may I inform you that while I was there, there were many students who were getting less than even 50%, however thnx to the greatness and excellent teaching skills of Mr. Success about 20 of those students got senior secondary schools. So, in conclusion, before we make such baseless and critical comments lets get our facts straight and give credit where it is due................ Ms. Cecelycious
