A policeman is among three people killed in a vehicular accident on the Friendship, East Bank Demerara Public Road.

Details are still sketchy. Demerara Waves Online News (www.demwaves.com) was told by police sources that the names of the dead are Tameka Brummel, Jason Brummel and Police Sergeant Thomas.

Thomas is a mechanic at the Guyana Police Force headquarters and up to the time of his death supervised the fuel pump at Eve Leary Headquarters. Tameka Brummel worked as a security guard at the Cheddi Jagan Dental Centre.

They were travelling in Thomas' car heading to Georgetown when the accident occurred early Thursday morning. The car toppled into a nearby canal and had to be taken out by a truck.

How much more deaths must they have over there before these people apply more prudence on the roadways.

Let's hope they were adhering to proper road laws and not be part of the road fatality statistic of those who perished due to improper use of the roadways.

My sympathies to the families.

Police nephew died four days ago b4 this accident, next was the young woman, her unborn, a brother n Sgt Thomas,...Four n a unborn = (5), very sorrowful indeed.

WHAT'S WRONG HERE, FIVE FAMILY MEMBERS DIED LESS THAN A WEEK?, NOT 4 ME TO JUDGE, GOD DON'T ALLOW THESE ACCIDENTS, THE DEVIL NEEDS TO BE PRAYED OUT OF GUYANA, THE ENTIRE COUNTRY NEEDS A DAY OF PRAYERS, EVERY CHURCH SHOULD JOIN TOGETHER IN PRAYER, SEVEN DAYS WITHOUT A STOP,...so many crossing a beautiful country.

My sympathies to the entire families, GOD GRANT THEM ENTRNAL REST.
