Loventino Cassadean gets walked out of Nassau County Police Headquarters in Mineola, New York on September 4, 2012. He's charged with killing his wife, Felicia Cassadean.

A young mom found dead in her burning Long Island home was stabbed to death by her husband, possibly after an argument over his sex-abuse arrest, police said Tuesday.

A mother of two little children, Felicia Cassadean was discovered in her smoke-filled Freeport home about 6 a.m. on Labor Day. Rxaminer.com reports that the woman is a Guyana native who had moved to the United States more than 10 years ago.

Both the woman's children were visiting her mother in Guyana when she was killed.

Loventino Cassadean, 49, who is charged with killing his 22-year-old bride Felicia, was busted in April for oral sex with a teenager.

Court papers say he invited the victim, who was under 17, to his bedroom and gave her a love letter before undressing her.

Nassau County Police Det. Lt. John Azzata said there was “an ongoing dispute” between husband and wife over the sleazy arrest before Monday’s murder.

Felicia he had been stabbed repeatedly. The fire, which left her corpse badly burned, may have been set to cover up the crime.

Her much-older husband — who met her when she living in a Catholic home for unwed moms — was quickly picked up by cops on a nearby street.

“He's given statements to the fact that he's had some involvement,” Azzata said.

Cassadean was stone-faced and silent as cops walked him to a patrol car. He pleaded not guilty in First District Court in Hempstead and was held without bail.

The victim’s family went to the medical examiner’s office to identify her body before the hearing.

Her shaken father — who threw her out of the house when she got pregnant at 15, she once said — declined to speak. But uncle Anthony Ram said relatives had no inkling of domestic trouble before the slaying.

"Like every marriage, I guess they had difficulty. We didn't know much about it," he said.

“We never saw any bad side of him at all. He was very well-spoken, very soft spoken," Ram added. “There are a lot of things we don't know about him.”

The suspect was a divorced dad when he married Felicia, who was living in Merrick with her son. They got hitched two years ago and she had a second child.

The couple was about to be evicted from their apartment after failing to pay rent since March. Public records show Cassadean had a string of tax warrants and a bankruptcy in his past.

Felicia, who was taking pharmacology classes at Farmingdale State College, was about to start a new job this week.

"Felicia was very young, very beautiful girl. Very ambitious. She was very independent. She had two wonderful kids. She was trying to make a better life for them,” Ram said.

“Things were looking good for her, this is a shock.”

I hope all fathers who think about discarding their precious daughters for the sake of out of wedlock pregnancy read this. Look what happen to this poor girl just because she could not count on her family, her blood, in her crisis! 22 years old and dead at the hands of a nutcase! I am hopping mad here. She had the courage to bring her child into this world, the father's grandchild whether he wanted it or not. As old people would say, maybe this same grandchild would be the one to give grandpa a cup of water in his old age. Now look what happen. Mother murdered and grandpa might still have to look after the grands. TWO now and no mother. Banna, I hope you will be super kind to those motherless kids because you are about as guilty of her death and the one that murdered her. SHAME ON YOU>

Shame on this criminal with a stoned face. He looked like there's no remorse in his heart. May the Lord deal with him accordingly.

I am totally disappointed at the manner that a father who would be quite experienced, acted towards his child. Yes, she made a mistake by getting pregnant but that could have been corrected. Your harsh decision and premature conclusion aided in what has happened her. I hope you pray for forgiveness. As for the murderer, your cruelty to your wife and mother of your child is enough to let you rotttttt in hell! If I were the judge in your country, God forbid the decision I would of handed down.

I totally agree. Deep-fry, and then deep-six the scum bag, pedophile murderer. Why should we the taxpayers have to pay for his incarceration?
