A gold miner was gunned down in Meadow Brook, Georgetown Thursday night, police sources said.

Details are sketchy. The dead man has been identified as 33-year old Jason Wills. Police appeared to have ruled out the shooting as a home invasion and robbery and are treating it as an execution.

Residents say the incident occurred around 8:20 PM on Pine Grove Street.

Unconfirmed reports are that two men were seen leaving the scene in a white Allion.

Again right? No one will be charged and placed before the courts. The sick thing is that people r willing to make a living murdering others without thought.

Let it be known the creator cannot be mocked, who every did this will pay for it, even to their great grand children.

Where has Guyana gone, where is the Safe, Peaceful,Beauti ful, Hospitable Homeland I knew and loved as a Kid, my Daily Prayer is that one Day our Dear Land will return to its former Glory, with God all things are possible.

This is ridiculous. This is the consequence of the phantom gang organization that has left Guyana with a bunch of hired killers. George Bacchus said in his affidavit that the men who were working with Gajraj had gone into private for hire killings. That in a small nation like Guyana with just a few miles of roadways these killings can go on without law enforcement cracking the cases is testament to the utter incompetence of the Government of the day. You cannot set a thief to catch a thief, regardless of the assurances of the popular coloquial expression.

If you prefer to live in a theocracy where everything is centered on an imaginary sky fairy, and the laws are in sync with a goat herder's handbook, Iran or Saudi Arabia beckons. There you'll enjoy a life free of killings and all other social ills. In fact your freedom will be to die for.. and yeah there is the afterlife too.
Meanwhile, us freedom-loving people will continue to look to science, maths, engineering and technology to make our lives better and solve our problems.

YOU SEEM VERY CONCERNED!!!! Seems as if there is a WAR on these who are CONNECTED to the UNTOUCHABLES in the Private Section Criminal Org. They getting "HIT" & MAKING HEADLINE one after the other. Will this be a lesson for ALL drug Barrons and those Lords who Lodge with the Duke? Being in the wrong place at the wrong time is very different than being GUNNED DOWN in the security of a PRIVATE HOME, without being ROBBED

Father dead through the gun years ago, a shady character at best, younger brother by father side also a thief dead likewise. Other half brother by father side also deported crazy from America. Please people killing is abhorred by us all. However this man lived his line. Father's younger brother stabbed to death for pick pocketing in the 70's. Look his chickens came home to roost. do not use this as a reflection of Guyana. But rather as a reflection of what some think Guyana is.
