policeTwo Police Constables were Saturday under close arrest after they were caught red-handed returning a stolen lap top computer to the owner who had given them a sum of money for the return of the article, the Guyana Police Force said in a statement.

St John’s, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board today announced that it has taken a decision to move the Third Digicel Test which was originally scheduled to be played at the Guyana National Stadium. 

The Test will now be played at Windsor Park in Dominica. The dates (April 23rd to 27th) are unchanged.

The People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) on Wednesday said it has received reports that there are members of the disciplined services who have not yet been registered in order to vote at the general election later this year even as the period to do so is ending.

According to a statement read by the party’s campaign manager, Joseph Harmon, a retired army officer, the reports further claim that the heads of these services have not made adequate arrangements to facilitate the registration process.

PNCR presidential candidate Brigadier (ret.) David Granger

The Joint Opposition Political Parties could launch their coalition platform for this year’s general election by month end, according to information from PNCR’s presidential candidate Brigadier (ret.) David Granger.

Speaking to demwaves.com on Thursday, Granger said they are currently working on selecting their leadership team but the work is well advanced and a launch could happen in another fortnight.
