Dead is 34-year old Troy Skeete of 'B' Field, Sophia. The incident occurred around 8 AM in 'C Field, Sophia. The suspected killer was up to late Thursday still at large. Police Chief of Criminal Investigations, Assistant Commissioner Seelall Persaud told demaves.com that Skeete was stabbed at least three times. Investigators have so far found out that Skeete had used the assailant’s phone-credit and that led to an argument and the subsequent homicide. Skeete, described as a “bully”, and the killer had worked together in the past but he reportedly never paid the suspect. Skeete was taken to the GPHC where he was pronounced dead on arrival. An autopsy is to be performed on the body. |
